About The Role
We’re looking for a Marketing Director to join our growing marketing team that will help scale our marketing efforts across Paid Social, Native, and Display networks.
Our dream candidates will have a passion for growth marketing, along with experience managing over $500k in monthly ad spend.
The ideal candidate is a data-driven leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and excels at overseeing multiple channels to achieve quarterly revenue goals.
You’ll bring a sharp, quantitative mindset, a passion for growth marketing, and a keen eye for achieving profitability and scale.
Your role will involve brainstorming new marketing strategies, optimizing on-page elements, refining ad copy, and conducting split tests.
Expertise in Excel and data analysis is a must, as is a strong background in managing large digital budgets.
We’re looking for someone who is not only highly analytical but also deeply committed to making data-driven decisions to drive our marketing success.
Location: Los Angeles or Remote
Responsibilities
- Lead the marketing team and own paid acquisition performance and strategic initiatives on all current and potential channels.
- Drive channel revenue growth through understanding the competitive landscape, improving existing channel performance, prioritization of key resources, and identifying new messaging and targeting opportunities across hundreds of verticals.
- Manage monthly budgets exceeding $3m+ while aiming to increase ad spend and profit.
- Collaborate with external business partners to identify efficiencies and improve effectiveness in our acquisition channels.
- Take the lead on tests and experimentation across ad platforms, bid & audience strategies, ad formats, creative and landing pages.
- Report to executives on high level marketing wins, challenges, and future growth plans.
Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years experience scaling direct response performance marketing campaigns across marketing networks like Facebook, Instagram, Taboola, Outbrain, Google Display Network, TikTok, Snapchat, and Demand Side Platforms (DSPs).
- Leadership and experience managing team members and external marketing agencies.
- Expert in using various optimization strategies across all networks, including tCPA and tROAS in order to achieve revenue goals.
- Strong Excel proficiency (pivot tables, vlookups, data manipulation).
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills are a must.
- Creative and strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
- Rigorous creative testing methodology and strong ability to leverage creative performance to improve channel profitability.
- Ability to learn new concepts quickly with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ownership mentality and proven ability to get things done without dedicated resources or oversight.
